PM Narendra Modi to address public rally in Berhampur on September 27

Bhubaneswar : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Odisha on September 27 to attend a massive public meeting in Berhampur, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari announced on Saturday.

According to Pujari, the Prime Minister will address a large gathering in Berhampur as part of his upcoming Odisha tour. “There will be a massive public rally in Berhampur on September 27, which will be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Details of other programmes scheduled during his visit will be shared later,” he said.

Explaining the process, Pujari noted that the proposed schedule of programmes has been sent to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) for approval. “The final schedule will be fixed accordingly. We have also requested the PMO to include one more programme in the itinerary. If approved, the Prime Minister may attend two events on the same day,” he added.

Meanwhile, BJP sources revealed that efforts are on to bring the Prime Minister to Odisha for at least six programmes this year. The Berhampur rally will mark the beginning of a series of events aimed at strengthening the party’s outreach in the state.
