Odisha Extends e-KYC Deadline for CM KISAN Beneficiaries by Six Months
Agriculture Department issues notification on extension

Bhubaneswar : The Odisha government has extended the deadline for e-KYC registration under the CM KISAN Yojana by six months, effective from September 8. The Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment (A\&FE) Department issued a notification today confirming the decision.
Deadline pushed to align with PM KISAN norms
According to the notification, all CM KISAN beneficiaries have been given additional time to complete mandatory requirements such as e-KYC, land seeding, and NPCI seeding in line with PM KISAN guidelines. Earlier, the deadline was set for September 9.
CM KISAN portal simplifies farmer registration
The A\&FE Department highlighted that the CM KISAN portal serves as a one-stop registration platform for farmers, enabling them to register for both PM KISAN and CM KISAN schemes. After verification, the state will forward the list of eligible farmers to PM KISAN for the disbursement of central assistance.
Over 85 lakh farmers benefit from both schemes
Currently, around 34.98 lakh farmers in Odisha are receiving financial support under PM KISAN, while nearly 51 lakh registered farmers are covered under CM KISAN, making it one of the largest farmer welfare initiatives in the state.
