Computer Institute Looted and Set Ablaze in Ganjam
Miscreants vandalise property, leave death threat for owner

Bhubaneswar : In a shocking incident, unidentified miscreants looted and set fire to a private computer institute at Old Police Line under Chatrapur police station on Monday night.
The attackers vandalised the premises before looting valuables and torching the institute. Several computers, AC units, documents, and furniture were destroyed, causing losses worth lakhs of rupees.
Before setting the place ablaze, the miscreants removed hard disks from computer systems, raising suspicions that they intended to erase key data.
The culprits wrote a threatening message on the glass door of the institute, warning the owner of death. Locals spotted the burnt premises and alerted the owner, police, and fire services.
Fire tenders doused the blaze, while police have launched an investigation. The owner is being questioned to ascertain possible enmity that might have triggered the attack.
