Odisha Government to Support Family of Communal Clash Victim
Chief Minister Announces Education Costs, Financial Aid, and Job for Bereaved Family

Bhubaneswar : Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today declared that the State Government will cover the entire education costs for the children of Santosh Parida (46), who died after sustaining injuries in a communal clash in Bhadrak's Tihidi area. The Chief Minister also announced ₹10 lakh in financial assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for Parida’s family, along with a government job for one family member.
In response to rising communal tensions, internet services in Bhadrak district have been suspended from 6:00 AM today until 6:00 AM tomorrow. Parida had been receiving treatment in Bhubaneswar for 13 days after being attacked by a group allegedly involved in illegal cattle trafficking. Twelve individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident, with demands for further investigation from local groups.
