Launch of 'Vikshit Krishi Sankalp' to Equip Farmers with Modern Knowledge and Government Support
Developed in BirGobindapur, Puri, this campaign aims to bring agricultural scientists and government welfare schemes directly to grassroots farmers
Bhubaneswar: A special agricultural initiative 'Vikshit Krishi Sankalp' has been launched in BirGobindapur block of Satyabadi, Puri district, with the main objective of providing farmers direct access to modern agricultural knowledge and government welfare schemes. Through this initiative, farmers will be trained in the latest agricultural techniques and encouraged to adopt modern farming methods.
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan emphasized the importance of this campaign, stating, “Farmers will benefit from soil testing, crop production analysis, and problem-solving with the help of scientists, which will help double their income.”
The program was attended by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Bardhan Singh Deo, and local MLAs, who expressed their support for the farmers.
This initiative will offer full cooperation and scientific knowledge to farmers, helping to modernize agriculture and boost productivity.
