Odisha's First BJP CM Vows to Replicate Best Practices from NDA States for ‘Viksit Bharat’
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, representing Odisha at the NDA Chief Ministers’ Conclave in New Delhi on Sunday, highlighted the state’s emerging development roadmap under the new BJP-led government.
Majhi, the first BJP Chief Minister of Odisha, shared key initiatives aimed at accelerating inclusive growth, administrative transparency, and grassroots development. He expressed the state’s commitment to aligning with the national mission of ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047.
“The conclave was filled with energy, bold ideas, and actionable insights on governance and nation-building,” Majhi stated, reflecting on the brainstorming session with other NDA CMs and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In a post on social media platform X, he said, “Proudly showcased Odisha’s impactful initiatives and drew inspiration from the success stories of other NDA-governed states. One mission. One goal. Viksit Bharat.”
Majhi emphasized that Odisha would adopt successful models from other NDA states, especially in sectors like health, education, and digital governance. His participation signals the state's proactive approach in integrating regional development with the national growth agenda.
