Class 10 Student Dies by Suicide After Jumping from School Hostel in Keonjhar

Bhubaneswar : Tragic incident at Kerala English Medium School leaves community in shock; probe underway

A Class 10 student of Kerala English Medium School in Champua, Keonjhar district, died by suicide on Saturday after allegedly jumping from the fourth floor of the school’s hostel building.

The deceased has been identified as Krishna Pradhan.

While the exact reason behind the student’s extreme step remains unknown, the incident has deeply shaken the school and local community.

Following the tragedy, Champua police arrived at the scene and launched an investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the death.

Authorities are questioning school staff and hostel inmates as part of the inquiry.
