President Droupadi Murmu Arrives in Odisha on a Two-Day Visit
To Attend Convocations at AIIMS Bhubaneswar and Ravenshaw University, and Join 600th Birth Anniversary of Adikabi Sarala Das
Bhubaneswar : President of India, Droupadi Murmu, is arriving in Bhubaneswar today on a two-day official visit to Odisha. She will land at the Bhubaneswar airport at 5:10 PM by an Indian Air Force aircraft. Extensive security arrangements have been made by the Commissionerate Police, including a full dress rehearsal of the convoy route.
This evening, the President will attend the 5th convocation ceremony of AIIMS Bhubaneswar. On June 15, she will be the Chief Guest at the 13th convocation ceremony of Ravenshaw University. On the same day, she will lay the foundation stone for three new buildings of Ravenshaw Girls’ High School.
Additionally, she will also participate as the Chief Guest in the 600th birth anniversary celebration of Adikabi Sarala Das, where she will present the "Kalinga Ratna Award 2024."
