CM Kisan Yojana Raises Annual Income by ₹58,000

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced that the CM Kisan Yojana has increased farmers’ annual income by at least ₹38,000. Along with ₹10,000 each from the Subhadra Yojana and PM-CM Kisan Yojanas, the total rise in income stands at ₹58,000.
Speaking at a state-level Nuakhai event organised by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment at OUAT, Bhubaneswar, Majhi disbursed the third installment of the CM Kisan Scheme for Rabi 2025–26. A total of ₹1,041.29 crore was directly transferred to 51.54 lakh small, marginal, landless, ST, and urban farmers through DBT.
He also inaugurated the newly built Krushak Bhawan and Reception Centre at OUAT, constructed at a cost of ₹59 crore, and announced plans to extend the farmer registration period.
Majhi highlighted the Samruddha Krushak Yojana, under which farmers received ₹3,100 per quintal for paddy procurement, with a record 92.63 lakh MT procured. Over 18 lakh farmers have registered this year.
He further emphasized support for landless farmers, crop diversification, crop insurance, potato cultivation, cold storage facilities, and scholarships under the Krushi Vidyadhan Yojana.
