CM Majhi Reviews Security Ahead of Bahuda Yatra and Suna Besha in Puri
Focus on Crowd Management, Police Deployment, and Seamless Coordination for Rath Yatra Festivities
Bhubaneswar : Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi chaired a high-level security meeting in Puri on Tuesday to review preparations for Bahuda Yatra, Suna Besha, and Niladri Bije. Anticipating a massive turnout, Majhi emphasized live crowd estimation and directed additional police deployment at key points for devotee safety. He stressed strict enforcement of SoPs, tighter control on cordon passes, and coordination with Maharana and Bhoi Sevaks. The CM also urged fire services and police to ensure beachside security. “This is not just a duty—it’s a privilege. Serve with full dedication,” he told officials.
