Bhadrak Tops Odisha in Revenue Administration Performance
Receives Certificate of Excellence at Statewide Revenue Officers’ Conference

Bhubaneswar: Bhadrak district has secured the 1st rank among all 30 districts of Odisha for its outstanding overall performance in revenue administration, earning the prestigious Certificate of Excellence during a two-day Revenue Officers’ Conference-cum-Workshop held at Lok Seva Bhawan Convention Centre on June 4 and 5.
This landmark event, organised for the first time by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, saw participation from Tahasildars, Sub-Collectors, and ADMs (Revenue) across the state.
The inaugural session was attended by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, and Additional Chief Secretary Deoranjan Kumar Singh. The Chief Minister praised revenue officers for their vital role in implementing the Odisha Right to Public Services Act (ORTPSA) and strengthening governance at the grassroots.
Bhadrak’s top ranking was based on two criteria — effective ORTPSA service delivery and progress in correcting Column 2 of the Record of Rights (RoR). These initiatives aim to ensure transparency and improve citizen-centric services.
ADM (Revenue) Santanu Kumar Mohanty accepted the award on behalf of Collector Dilip Routrai and the district team. The recognition highlights Bhadrak’s commitment to efficient, transparent, and responsive governance.
