TYCON 2025 Marks Big Leap for Odisha’s Startup Ecosystem

Bhubaneswar – Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced plans to develop Cuttack, Rourkela, Sambalpur, and Berhampur as new digital hubs under Vision Odisha 2036 and Developed India 2047.

Speaking at the inaugural National Entrepreneurship Summit – TYCON Bhubaneswar 2025, Majhi urged entrepreneurs to partner in Odisha’s growth, citing strengths in Global Capability Centres, chip design, blockchain, and AI.

Electronics & IT Minister Mukesh Mahaling highlighted Odisha’s AI policy and projects in agriculture and healthcare, including AI-based coffee plantation monitoring in Koraput.

The two-day event gathered 500 delegates from India and abroad, featured sessions on entrepreneurship, AI, and the blue economy, and saw MoUs with IIT Bhubaneswar, Semiconductor Fabless Accelerator Lab, and others.

Awards honoured leading entrepreneurs and ecosystem partners, with organisers calling the summit a milestone for Odisha’s global innovation ambitions.
