'Ghar Ghar Solar' Campaign Brings Clean Energy to Every Home with Plans Starting at ₹2,499
Bhubaneswar : Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), India’s leading rooftop solar company, has launched the country’s most affordable rooftop solar solution in Bhubaneswar under its 'Ghar Ghar Solar' initiative. Designed to make clean energy accessible to all, this campaign offers installation starting at just ₹2,499 for a 1 kW system, ₹4,999 for 2 kW, and ₹7,999 for 3 kW.
The financing model allows residents to pay only one-third upfront, making solar power a realistic and economical choice for Odisha households. Government subsidies under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana and additional state incentives can reduce the total cost by up to ₹1.38 lakh.
TPREL has also introduced two new offerings: MySine, a smart solar + battery backup system, and Solar Design Spaces, which merges style with sustainability. Rooftop solar adoption in Odisha has surged, with customer numbers growing over fourfold, reaching 1,759. In FY25 alone, 1,033 new residential customers joined, a tenfold increase over FY24.
