Registration for Habisyali Camp Begins in Puri

Bhubaneswar : Ahead of the holy Kartik month, the registration process for Habisyali has begun in Puri from today. The online registration will start on September 19, allowing eligible women to apply through the official website ([https://edistrict.odisha.gov.in](https://edistrict.odisha.gov.in)) to avail accommodation and related services.

Around 2,500 Habisyali are expected to participate in this year’s month-long Kartik Brata. The government has arranged accommodation facilities at Brundabati Niwas, Bagala Dharmasala, Puri Municipality Kalyan Mandap, and Akshaya Patra building.

As per guidelines, widows up to 70 years old and married women between 50 and 70 years old can apply. Applicants must be physically and mentally fit. Priority will be given to first-time participants, and only online-registered applicants will be allowed to join the Habisyali camp.

The government will provide free Mahaprasad to all Habisyali throughout the month. Special arrangements have also been made for Jagannath darshan and prasad seva to ensure a fulfilling spiritual experience.
