COVID-19 Cases See Slight Rise in Odisha, Active Count Reaches 15
Health Department urges vigilance but says situation under control

Bhubaneswar :
Odisha has witnessed a marginal uptick in COVID-19 cases, with the number of active infections rising to 15 on Monday, according to the State Health Department. The active case count, which stood at 12 earlier, increased following the detection of three new cases in the state.
Health authorities, however, have assured the public that the current situation is under control and there is no cause for alarm. "The rise is minimal and not indicative of a wider outbreak at this stage," a senior health official stated.
While the department continues to monitor the situation closely, it has not recommended any new restrictions or special measures. Officials have advised people to remain cautious, practice good hygiene, and report symptoms if they feel unwell.
No hospitalisations or severe cases have been reported in connection with the latest surge, and the patients are said to be recovering under home isolation.
The state government is keeping a close watch on developments and is prepared to respond quickly if the number of cases rises further.
