CM Mohan Majhi Inaugurates Omfed and Koraput Coffee Cafés at Odisha Niwas in Delhi
Initiative aims to connect Odias with their roots while promoting state’s dairy and tribal coffee brands nationwide.

Bhubaneswar : Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated an Omfed Café and a Koraput Coffee Café at Odisha Niwas in New Delhi, offering Odia residents in the capital a taste of home while also showcasing the state’s flagship dairy and coffee products to a wider audience.
Speaking on the occasion, Majhi said the cafés will not only cater to the Odia community but also attract customers from across India. “Omfed is a matter of pride for Odisha. Its taste and purity connect people with their roots, while Koraput Coffee has earned international recognition for quality and sustainability,” he said.
The CM highlighted the government’s efforts to revamp Omfed for the benefit of dairy farmers, citing the new ‘Mukhyamantri Kamdhenu Yojana’ as a milestone in empowering milk producers. Omfed products like ghee, paneer, butter, curd, lassi, and ice creams will now be available in Delhi, with plans for expansion to other states.
Similarly, the Koraput Coffee Café will promote Odisha’s tribal-grown Arabica blends such as Koraput Instant Coffee, Tiger Bright, and Ethnic. Majhi said the initiative supports tribal entrepreneurship while strengthening Odisha’s brand identity in national and global markets.
