SBI Securities Donates ₹49 Lakh to Boost Eye Care Services in Odisha and West Bengal

Bhubaneswar, May 16, 2025 : In a significant step towards improving rural eye health, SBI Securities has contributed ₹49 lakh as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to enhance eye care services in Odisha and West Bengal. The donation is part of a collaborative effort with Sightsavers India under the “Netra Vasant – Rural Eye Health Programme.”

This partnership aims to address the growing need for accessible and quality eye care in underserved areas by equipping District Hospitals and NGO-run healthcare facilities with essential medical tools for Eye Outpatient Departments (OPDs) and Operation Theatres (OTs). The initiative is expected to improve early detection and treatment of eye-related issues, particularly among vulnerable and remote communities.
